Sarjapur Road, Bengaluru

Sarjapur Road runs south-east from Koramangala, crosses the Outer Ring Road at Iblur and continues past Bellandur, Kasavanahalli, Carmelaram, Dommasandra and Kodathi towards Sarjapura town. The inner part, up to about Carmelaram, lies within the Greater Bengaluru Authority area; further out, villages such as Dommasandra and Kodathi are panchayat areas in Anekal taluk, planned under BMRDA. HSR Layout and Haralur are to the west, Bellandur and Varthur to the north.

The road grew with the IT industry. The Wipro campus at Doddakannelli, the Outer Ring Road tech parks at Bellandur and Devarabeesanahalli and, further away, Electronic City supply most of the buyers. Well-known schools line the road, including Inventure Academy, The International School Bangalore and Greenwood High, and Manipal Hospital has a Sarjapur Road branch. The main road carries far more traffic than it was built for, and the stretch near Carmelaram and Dommasandra slows to a crawl at school and office hours. Several villages still depend on tanker water.

Housing is mostly large gated apartment projects, with some villa communities further out. IndiProp lists eight projects here. Purva Skywood, Brigade Parkside East, Godrej Reflections, Adarsh Sanctuary, Godrej Lake Gardens, Brigade Gem and Godrej Park Retreat all had possession dates before September 2026, so they are complete or in handover. Listed starting prices run from about ₹41 lakh at Brigade Parkside East to ₹4.8 crore at Adarsh Sanctuary, with Godrej Park Retreat from about ₹1.6 crore; older prices may be dated. Assetz 63 Degree East, from about ₹1 crore, has no possession date on its listing, so confirm the schedule with Assetz.
