Kanakapura Road, Bengaluru

Kanakapura Road (NH 948) runs south-west from Banashankari and JP Nagar past Konanakunte, Doddakallasandra, Talaghattapura and the NICE Road junction towards Kanakapura town. The Art of Living International Centre at Udayapura, Turahalli Forest to the west and the Bannerghatta forest belt to the east give the outer stretch a greener feel than most of the city's growth corridors.

The Green Line metro runs along the inner stretch, with stations from Yelachenahalli through Konanakunte Cross, Doddakallasandra, Vajrahalli and Thalaghattapura to Silk Institute, which is one of the main reasons buyers have moved here. NICE Road gives a fast link to Hosur Road and Mysore Road. Beyond the metro, towards Kaggalipura and Harohalli, the road is narrower and services are thinner, and many residents depend on JP Nagar and Banashankari for hospitals and shopping.

Housing is mostly large gated apartment projects and townships, with villas and plots further out. Prices are lower than in JP Nagar, and the corridor attracts families, first-time buyers and professionals working in south Bengaluru and Electronic City.

Seven are shown as ready to move: Provident Park Square (2 and 3 BHK of 900 to 1,308 sq ft carpet area, from about ₹80 lakh), Prestige Primrose Hills, Brigade Meadows Wisteria, Rohan Akriti, Godrej Eternity, Godrej Life Plus and Godrej Zest, with listed prices from about ₹36 lakh to ₹1.04 crore. Prices on these may be dated. Mahindra Eden is under construction, with 1 to 3 BHK homes from about ₹45 lakh and possession due in March 2027. Several of these projects are well beyond the metro, so check the actual location.
