Adarsh Developers

Adarsh Developers, part of the Adarsh Group, was founded in Bengaluru in 1988 by B. M. Jayeshankar and B. M. Karunesh. Jayeshankar is still chairman and managing director, and he has served as president of CREDAI Karnataka. The company builds homes, offices and hotels, and in 2007 it moved into hospitality by building the Shangri-La hotel in Bengaluru. It says it has completed more than 33 projects covering about 29.6 million sq ft, with around 18 million sq ft under construction and a further 21 million sq ft planned. It is privately held and has about 12,000 customers.

Nearly all of its housing is in Bengaluru, with a heavy tilt to the east and north. Adarsh Palm Retreat, launched in 2005, is its large villa and apartment township of more than 150 acres off the Outer Ring Road near Marathahalli and Bellandur, and Adarsh Lakefront is in the same belt. Adarsh Sanctuary is off Sarjapur Road. In the north, Adarsh Wisteria, Tranqville and Pinecourt are on or near Hennur Road, Adarsh Greens is in Jakkur and Adarsh Savana is towards Devanahalli. Adarsh Palm Acres, near Vidya Nagar Cross in the north, has large four and five bedroom homes, and in the south Adarsh Premia is in Banashankari Stage 2.
