About Attibele, Bengaluru
Attibele is a small industrial town on NH 44 (Hosur Road) at the Karnataka and Tamil Nadu border, in Anekal taluk of Bengaluru Urban district. The state check post arch marks the border here, and Hosur in Tamil Nadu is just across it. Chandapura and Bommasandra lie towards Bengaluru, and the Anekal road branches off to the west. The town is run by the Attibele Town Municipal Council.
Attibele grew around its industrial area and the highway. Much of the working population is employed in factories here, in Hosur's industrial belt, or further up the highway in Bommasandra and Electronic City. It is still a small town rather than a city suburb: local markets, schools and clinics cover daily needs, while larger hospitals, malls and offices are towards Bommasandra and Electronic City. The Yellow Line metro, open since August 2025, ends at Bommasandra, so the last stretch into the city is by road.
Housing is a mix of older independent homes, private and panchayat layouts, and a handful of newer gated projects priced below Electronic City. Buyers are usually people working along the Hosur Road industrial corridor, and investors who expect the southern edge of the city to keep growing.
