Hebbal, Bengaluru

Hebbal is the northern gateway of Bengaluru, where Bellary Road (NH 44) meets the Outer Ring Road at the Hebbal flyover. Hebbal Lake lies beside the junction. RT Nagar and Ganganagar are to the south, Kempapura and Nagawara to the east along the ORR, Kodigehalli and Sahakara Nagar to the north and the Sanjay Nagar side to the south-west. It is the main road route from the city to the airport.

Much of the area's growth comes from Manyata Tech Park on the ORR towards Nagawara, and from the offices and hotels that have followed it. Residents are close to Manipal Hospital Hebbal, Bangalore Baptist Hospital and Esteem Mall, and central Bengaluru is reached down Bellary Road through Mekhri Circle. The flyover and the junction are among the slowest points in the city at peak hours. Two rail projects are under construction here: the Blue Line metro, with a Hebbal station on its KR Puram to airport section, and the Mallige suburban rail corridor, which also has a Hebbal station.

Housing ranges from older independent homes in the RT Nagar side to large gated towers around the lake and along the ORR, with some of the city's higher-priced apartment projects. Buyers are senior professionals working in Manyata and the CBD, families who want a quick run to the airport, and NRIs.

IndiProp lists 3 projects in Hebbal. Prestige Misty Waters Vista Towers, with 2 and 3 BHK homes, had possession due in November 2021 and is shown as ready to move, listed from about ₹1.1 crore. Brigade Laguna is under construction, with 2 and 3 BHK homes of 1,194 to 1,847 sq ft carpet area from about ₹1.39 crore and possession due in December 2026. Assetz Soho and Sky, with 3 and 4 BHK homes from about ₹3.18 crore, is due in September 2027.
