Puravankara

Puravankara was founded in 1975 by Ravi Puravankara, who is still its chairman. The business was incorporated as Puravankara Projects Ltd in 1986, set up a presence in Dubai in 1989 and was listed on the BSE and NSE in 2007. It runs two housing brands: Purva for its premium projects and Provident Housing, a wholly owned subsidiary started in 2008 for mid-income buyers. A third company, Starworth Infrastructure and Construction, handles construction in-house, and the group also builds commercial office space.

Bengaluru is the home market, and most of the projects IndiProp lists are there. Purva Palm Beach and Purva Promenade are on Hennur Road, Purva Atmosphere is in Thanisandra, Purva Zenium is at Hosahalli near the airport road, and Purva Skywood is off Sarjapur Road. On the south side, Purva Westend is on Hosur Road and Purva Coronation Square is in JP Nagar. The Provident projects Botanico in Whitefield and Sunworth City on Mysore Road sit under the same group. Outside Bengaluru, the company has Purva Windermere in Pallikaranai, Chennai, and Purva Clermont in Chembur, Mumbai, and it runs sales offices in Kochi, Chennai, Mumbai and Dubai.
