About Worli, Mumbai
Worli lies on the western coast of central Mumbai, with Prabhadevi and Dadar to the north, Lower Parel to the east and Mahalaxmi and Haji Ali to the south. Worli Sea Face runs along the shore, the Bandra-Worli Sea Link starts at its northern tip, and the Coastal Road now connects it south to Marine Drive.
Worli is one of the city's premium residential and business areas. Annie Besant Road and Dr E. Moses Road carry offices, hotels and showrooms, and former mill lands have been redeveloped into some of the tallest residential towers in India. The Nehru Science Centre, Nehru Planetarium and the NSCI Dome are here, and Atria Mall is on Annie Besant Road. Older parts include Worli Koliwada, the fishing village near the Sea Link, and the BDD chawls, which are being redeveloped. Buyers are mainly business families, senior executives and investors.
Metro Line 3 has stations at Worli, Acharya Atre Chowk, Science Museum and Siddhivinayak, and the Aqua Line has been fully open since October 2025. Lower Parel and Mahalaxmi stations on the Western line are nearby. The Sewri-Worli elevated connector to Atal Setu is under construction.
