Rohan Builders

Rohan Builders was founded in Pune in 1993 and is led by its chairman and managing director, Suhas Lunkad. The group has several arms: housing, infrastructure and industrial contracting, with smaller interests in warehousing and agrotech. On the infrastructure side it built the Amritsar-Wagah stretch of NH1. The company says it has built more than 1.5 crore sq ft and that CRISIL has consistently rated it DA2+, a rating of a developer's ability to deliver on time and to specification.

It builds homes in Pune, Bengaluru and Mumbai. In Pune the IndiProp listings show a western focus: Prathama in Hinjewadi Phase 1, next to the Radisson Blu hotel in the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park area, Ipsita in Hinjewadi, Ananta in Tathawade and Anand in Mawal. Earlier work includes Abhilasha on the Lohegaon-Wagholi road and Mithila in Viman Nagar. Rohan markets its designs around cross-ventilation, daylight and privacy, which it calls the PLUS principle. Most of its current Pune stock is 1 and 2 BHK homes in the mid segment, aimed at people working in the Hinjewadi IT parks.
