About Mahalunge, Pune
West of Baner and Balewadi, across the Mumbai-Bengaluru highway, lies Mahalunge, a former village that is now filling up with high-rise housing. The Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, usually called Balewadi Stadium, stands on its edge.
