Manjari, Pune

About 4 km east of Hadapsar, Manjari spreads between the Pune-Solapur highway and the Mula-Mutha river, with Keshav Nagar and Kharadi across the water to the north-west and Fursungi to the south. Manjari Budruk, the larger part, came into the Pune Municipal Corporation in 2021 as one of 23 merged villages.

The Vasantdada Sugar Institute and the ICAR National Research Centre for Grapes are both at Manjari, and the Serum Institute of India runs a large manufacturing campus here. The nearest office districts are Magarpatta City and the Hadapsar offices, and the Kharadi IT district across the river.

IndiProp lists 6 projects in Manjari, and five of them are by Godrej Properties: Godrej Park Spring, Urban Retreat, Sky Greens, Park Ridge and Rivergreens. Kalpataru Serenity is the sixth. These are mostly large gated layouts with 2 and 3 BHK flats. Manjari suits buyers who work on the eastern side and want a newer gated project a little outside the busiest office districts. Rail users have Manjari Budruk station on the Pune-Daund suburban line. The weak points are last-mile roads that are still being built out after the merger, and a metro that is some years away: Line 4 will interchange at Hadapsar railway station, and a Hadapsar to Loni Kalbhor line received state approval in November 2025.
