Singasandra, Bengaluru

Singasandra is on Hosur Road in south-east Bengaluru, between Kudlu Gate and Hosa Road, in the Bommanahalli area. Hosur Road forms its eastern spine, Begur and Hongasandra lie to the west and north-west, Kudlu and Haralur to the north-east, and Electronic City is a few stops further south. It is within the Greater Bengaluru Authority, under the Bengaluru South City Corporation.

The big change here has been the Yellow Line metro, which opened in August 2025 between RV Road and Bommasandra and has a station at Singasandra. It gives residents a train to Electronic City in one direction and to Silk Board, BTM Layout and Jayanagar in the other, which matters because Hosur Road and the Silk Board junction are notorious for traffic. The area itself is a mix of older layouts, small apartment buildings and newer gated projects on the lanes off Hosur Road and Begur-Koppa Road. Shops and daily needs are available locally, but roads inside the layouts are narrow and drainage can struggle in heavy rain.

Buyers are typically people working in Electronic City, on the ORR at HSR and Bellandur, or in Koramangala, who want a lower price than those areas. IndiProp lists one project here, TVS Emerald Jardin, priced from about ₹40 lakh with possession due in July 2027. It is still under construction, so check the RERA registration and the progress on site before booking.
