TVS Emerald

TVS Emerald is the housing business of the TVS group, the Chennai industrial family known for TVS Motor and auto components, whose roots go back to T. V. Sundaram Iyengar's bus service in 1911. The group moved into real estate in 2012 under the TVS Emerald name, and the parent company is TVS Emerald Limited, which runs its projects through a set of subsidiary companies. The company reports about 6.5 million sq ft developed, 8.7 million sq ft under development, more than 30 projects and around 6,800 customers.

Chennai is its main market, and its projects there are mostly along the southern IT corridors. TVS Emerald Verde Vista is at Padur on Old Mahabalipuram Road, and TVS Emerald Aaranya is at Medavakkam, between OMR and GST Road. In Bengaluru, TVS Emerald Jardin is at Singasandra off Hosur Road, near Electronic City, and TVS Auralis is on Thanisandra Road in the north. The company has more projects in north Bengaluru along Bagalur Road. Its homes are mainly two and three bedroom apartments priced for salaried buyers.
