Padmanabhanagar is a residential area in south Bengaluru, between Banashankari and JP Nagar. Banashankari 2nd Stage and Kadirenahalli are to the west, Kumaraswamy Layout to the south, JP Nagar and Jayanagar to the east, and Chikkalasandra to the south-west. It gives its name to an assembly constituency and falls within the Greater Bengaluru Authority, which replaced BBMP in 2025.

The area was built up as residential layouts over the later decades of the last century, and it still has the feel of an old south Bengaluru neighbourhood: independent houses, small apartment buildings, neighbourhood shops, temples and a lot of families who have lived here for decades. Schools, clinics and markets are close by in Banashankari and Jayanagar. The Green Line metro has stations at Banashankari and JP Nagar on Kanakapura Road, a short drive from most of Padmanabhanagar, and the Yellow Line from RV Road serves the Jayanagar side. Roads inside the layouts are narrow and parking is tight, and large new projects are uncommon because land is scarce.

Buyers are mostly families from south Bengaluru who want to stay close to their community, and working couples who value the central location and metro access. IndiProp lists two projects here, both by Brigade and both with possession due in December 2026. Brigade Nanda Heights is priced from about ₹1.65 crore and Brigade Komarla Heights from about ₹95.7 lakh.
