Kudlu Gate, Bengaluru

Kudlu Gate is a junction on Hosur Road in south-east Bengaluru, between Bommanahalli and Hongasandra to the north-west and Singasandra and Garvebhavi Palya to the south-east. The road towards Kudlu village and Haralur turns off here to the east, and HSR Layout lies to the north-east. It sits on the older Hosur Road below the elevated expressway to Electronic City.

The junction's position gives residents access to two large job markets: Electronic City down the highway, and the HSR Layout and Outer Ring Road offices to the north. Since August 2025 the Yellow Line metro has had a Kudlu Gate station, with Singasandra and Hosa Road stations next along the line and Central Silk Board a few stops away. Hosur Road at ground level is still crowded with buses and trucks, and the side roads into Kudlu are narrow.

Housing is a mix of older independent houses, small apartment buildings and a number of gated projects built from the late 2000s onwards. Prices sit below HSR Layout and above Electronic City. The typical buyer works in Electronic City, HSR Layout or on the ORR and wants a metro station close by.
