Sanjay Nagar, Bengaluru

Sanjay Nagar is an established residential area in north Bengaluru, a little south of Hebbal. It lies close to New BEL Road and the Outer Ring Road, with RMV 2nd Stage and Dollars Colony to the south, Geddalahalli and Bhoopasandra to the east, and Mathikere and the MS Ramaiah campus to the west. The Indian Institute of Science and Malleshwaram are a short drive further south-west. It was part of BBMP and now falls under the Greater Bengaluru Authority.

The area grew as a planned layout, and much of it is still independent houses on regular plots, with small apartment buildings in between. Its tree-lined streets, the shops on Sanjay Nagar Main Road and New BEL Road, and easy reach to Hebbal make it a steady choice for families. Healthcare is strong nearby, with MS Ramaiah Memorial Hospital and Aster CMI at Hebbal. Manyata Tech Park and the Bellary Road route to the airport are both within reach through Hebbal, though the Hebbal flyover junction is often jammed at peak hours.

Large new projects are rare because land is scarce, so resale homes make up most of the market and prices are high. IndiProp lists one project here, Prestige Fairfield, which was priced from about ₹2.24 crore. Its possession was due in November 2023, so it is a completed, ready-to-move project; prices may have changed since listing and should be confirmed with Prestige. For public transport, buses on New BEL Road and the Outer Ring Road are the main option, and the Blue Line to the airport through Hebbal is under construction.
