Santacruz lies between Khar to the south and Vile Parle to the north, divided by the Western Railway line into Santacruz West and Santacruz East. The west runs from SV Road and Linking Road towards Juhu, and the east reaches the Western Express Highway, Kalina and the domestic terminal of the airport.

Santacruz West is a long-settled, well-off residential area with older bungalows, low-rise buildings and newer towers from redevelopment. Its lanes are quieter than those of nearby Bandra and Khar, but shops, restaurants and schools are close, and Juhu beach is a short drive. Santacruz East is busier and more mixed, with offices, hotels near the airport and older housing. Buyers in the west are mainly business families and senior professionals working in BKC, Bandra and Andheri, while the east draws buyers who want a lower price close to the airport and BKC.

Santacruz station on the Western line has slow and fast trains. Metro Line 3 has a Santacruz station in the east, close to the highway, linking the area with BKC, the airport and south Mumbai. Metro Line 2B will have stations in the west near Khira Nagar and Saraswat Nagar, but that section is under construction.

It is shown as ready to move, and the price should be confirmed. SV Road and Linking Road are congested, and parts of the east are under the airport flight path.
