Senapati Bapat Road, Pune

Senapati Bapat Road, usually shortened to SB Road, runs through the Shivajinagar and Model Colony area of central-west Pune, from the Chaturshringi temple near the university towards Symbiosis and the Model Colony side. It is one of the city's main office and hotel corridors, lined by established residential colonies on either side and close to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Museum and the Symbiosis campus.

The road's anchor is the International Convention Centre complex developed by Panchshil Realty, which includes ICC Trade Tower, ICC Tech Park and the Pune Marriott Hotel and Convention Centre. ICC Trade Tower alone has about 5 lakh sq ft of offices in two wings. Many other firms have offices along the road, which makes SB Road a place where people can live and work within a few kilometres. IndiProp lists one project on SB Road, Siddhashila Manik Signia by Siddhashila Group, with 2, 3 and 4 BHK homes. New projects are rare and are usually redevelopment of older bungalows or societies.

For public transport, the nearest metro is Metro Line 3 along Ganeshkhind Road, which has stations planned at the university, RBI and Agriculture College before ending at the District Court; these central stations were due to open after the Hinjewadi section. The Purple Line's Shivaji Nagar station is also nearby. The honest drawbacks are traffic at peak hours on SB Road and its junctions, and a very small supply of new homes. SB Road suits professionals and families who want a central address near offices, colleges and hotels.
