Pokhran Road, Thane

Pokhran Road is the name for two parallel roads in Thane West, Pokhran Road No. 1 and Pokhran Road No. 2, which run west from the Eastern Express Highway towards the Yeoor hills. Vartak Nagar and Majiwada lie to the east, Vasant Vihar and the Upvan area to the north, and the hills of Sanjay Gandhi National Park close off the western end. Upvan Lake sits at the foot of the hills at the end of Pokhran Road No. 2.

This is one of Thane's more settled upmarket neighbourhoods. Much of Pokhran Road No. 1 was industrial land, including Raymond's large holding, now being redeveloped as housing. The roads are lined with high-rise complexes, schools such as Singhania School and hospitals such as Bethany Hospital, and Viviana Mall is a short drive away on the highway. Homes are mostly 2 and 3 BHK flats with a growing number of larger 3 and 4 BHK units, and buyers are usually established families and professionals who want green surroundings and quick access to the Eastern Express Highway. Both roads get crowded at school and office hours. The nearest Metro Line 4 stations are on the highway at Cadbury Junction and Majiwada; the first stretch from Gaimukh to Cadbury Junction was in trial runs in September 2026.

IndiProp lists four projects on Pokhran Road. Raymond Ten X Era by Raymond Realty has 2 and 3 BHK flats from about ₹1.43 crore, with possession due in January 2029. Three are shown as ready to move: Raymond TenX Habitat (1 and 2 BHK, possession due December 2025, listed from about ₹1.03 crore), Skyraa by Shapoorji Pallonji (3 and 4 BHK, possession due February 2022, from about ₹2.44 crore) and Wadhwa Courtyard (2 and 3 BHK, possession due August 2019, from about ₹1.26 crore). Prices on the completed projects may be dated, so confirm them with the developers.
