Raidurg, Hyderabad

Raidurg, also written Raidurgam, sits at the heart of Hyderabad's IT district. HITEC City and Madhapur are to its north, Gachibowli to its west, and Durgam Cheruvu lake to its north-east. Much of the land here was turned over to offices: the Mindspace IT park runs along its northern side and the Knowledge City area holds T-Hub, the state-backed start-up campus, along with several large office towers. The area is in the Serilingampally zone of the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation.

Getting around is easier than in most of west Hyderabad. Raidurg is the western terminus of the Blue Line, which has run to Nagole since the final section from HITEC City opened in November 2019. The flyovers at the Biodiversity junction carry traffic towards Gachibowli and the Outer Ring Road, and Inorbit Mall and the Durgam Cheruvu lakefront are close by. AIG Hospitals is a short drive away in Gachibowli. The trade-off is traffic: at office hours the roads around Mindspace and the Biodiversity junction are among the busiest in the city, and weekends are far calmer than weekdays.

Residential supply is thin because so much land is commercial. What exists is mostly large apartments in a handful of gated towers, bought by senior professionals who want to walk or take a short metro ride to work. IndiProp lists one project here: My Home Bhooja, whose possession was due in December 2020. IndiProp shows it as ready to move. It was listed from about ₹2.26 crore; that price is likely dated, so confirm current resale or developer pricing before comparing it with newer towers in Kokapet or the Financial District.
