Narsingi, Hyderabad

Narsingi is a satellite town in Gandipet mandal of Ranga Reddy district, on the western side of Hyderabad where the Outer Ring Road has a junction. Kokapet lies to its west, Puppalaguda and Manikonda to the north-east, and the Gandipet reservoir to the south-west. It was a separate municipality until the recent reorganisation and now heads the Narsingi circle of the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation. At the 2011 census it was a small town of under 10,000 people spread over about 6.9 sq km; the population has grown many times since as towers replaced farmland.

The ORR junction is the reason for that growth. From Narsingi, the Financial District and Gachibowli are a short drive, and the airport is reached without entering the city. High-rises such as My Home Avatar and Vasavi Atlantis now define the skyline, and Narsingi has some of Hyderabad's tallest residential buildings. Schools, clinics and shops have followed the housing, though larger hospitals and malls are still in Gachibowli and the Financial District. The old village core has narrow lanes, and the service roads near the ORR are congested at peak hours.

Most homes are apartments in gated high-rises, with some villa projects on the outer edges. Buyers are IT and finance professionals who want a shorter commute than Tellapur or Bachupally at a lower price than Kokapet. IndiProp lists one project under Narsingi: Ira Moonglade, with possession due in November 2029 and prices from about ₹1.32 crore. Possession is more than three years away, and buyers should check the exact site location, since Narsingi addresses are used for a wide area west of the ORR.
