Kumar Properties

Kumar Properties was founded in Pune in 1966 by K.H. Oswal and now trades as Kumar Corp, with Hitesh K. Jain as managing director. It is one of the older names in the city's housing market. The company says it has delivered more than 140 projects and over 35 million sq ft, covering apartments, bungalows, commercial buildings and IT parks. It is a separate business from Kumar Builders, another Pune firm that also traces its start to 1966.

Its current projects are spread across south, east and west Pune. In the IndiProp listings, Princetown Royal and Palmspring Towers are in Undri, Prospera and 47 East are on the Magarpatta side, Primavera and Prajwal are in Wadgaon Sheri, Peninsula and Priyadarshan are in Pashan, and Siddhachal is near Market Yard. The Megapolis township in Hinjewadi Phase 3 includes Saffron, Mystic and Serenity. Most launches are mid-segment 2 and 3 BHK homes, with 2 BHK flats typically priced from about ₹72 lakh to ₹1 crore and larger homes in Pashan and Undri above ₹1.5 crore. The company reports IGBC green ratings for Princetown Royal, Prospera and Park Infinia in Fursungi.
