Kolshet Road, once lined with factories, is now one of the main housing corridors of Thane West, and Wadhwa Platina is one of the mid-priced projects along it. The Wadhwa Group offers two layouts here: a 2 BHK with an extra study, and a 3 BHK.
Listed prices were about ₹76.3 lakh for the two-bedroom-plus-study homes and ₹91.4 lakh to ₹94.2 lakh for the three-bedroom homes. Carpet areas were not published with the listing. Get the RERA carpet figures before comparing value with other Kolshet projects, and ask the developer for today's rates, since these were quoted some time back. Possession was due in December 2022 under MahaRERA registration P51700008189, and the project is shown as Ready to Move.
The flats are planned for daylight and cross ventilation, and higher floors look towards the Yeoor Hills and the Ulhas river. In the common areas there is energy-efficient lighting, CCTV monitoring around the clock and smoke sensors. The facility list takes in a clubhouse, swimming pool, gym, tennis, badminton and squash courts, a jogging and cycle track, yoga areas, a spa, sauna and jacuzzi, indoor games, a cards room, a library and a party hall.
A few distances help set expectations. Thane station is about 6.7 km away, the Eastern Express Highway about 10 km, and the Mumbai airport around 32 km. For a family on a moderate budget that wants a study for work from home, the 2 BHK plus study is the more interesting plan. The Balkum and Majiwada junctions are the usual pinch points on the morning run.
