Scale is the first thing to understand about Prestige Jindal City. The project on Tumkur Road, at Bagalakunte in north-west Bengaluru, covers 32 acres and holds 3,571 homes, which makes it one of the larger single communities in this part of the city.
The mix runs from 1 BHK through to 4 BHK flats, planned as compact, efficient layouts. The 1 BHK was listed at about ₹45 lakh, the 2 BHK between about ₹65 lakh and ₹77 lakh, the 3 BHK between about ₹89 lakh and ₹1.19 crore, and the 4 BHK at about ₹1.3 crore to ₹1.4 crore. Carpet areas were not published. Possession was due in December 2021, and the project is shown as ready to move, so most units will now be resale and the old prices are only a guide. Namma Metro's Green Line runs along Tumkur Road next to the project, which gives a direct train to Yeshwantpur, Rajajinagar, Malleshwaram and Majestic. The Peenya industrial belt is nearby, and Hebbal and Dollars Colony are a reasonable drive east. The airport is under an hour away in normal traffic.
Two practical notes. With over 3,500 homes, the community is dense, so look at how amenities, lifts and parking cope with that many residents, and ask for the maintenance charge structure. Tumkur Road is also a national highway with heavy truck traffic, and the stretch around Peenya and Jalahalli is slow at peak times. For people who can use the metro for work, both issues matter less.
