Very few new apartments come up on Anna Salai, which is what sets Brigade Icon apart. The mixed-use project stands on Mount Road near Nungambakkam, on a site of a little over 5 acres that also carries offices and retail. The residential part is small: 200 homes in 3, 4 and 5 bedroom formats, including duplexes and penthouses.
Brigade prices the residences from ₹8.5 crore, excluding government charges and taxes. Unit sizes are not listed on the developer's page, so ask for the carpet area of each type before comparing value. The project is registered with TNRERA under TN/29/Building/0392/2024, and the handover date filed with RERA is June 2030. Construction had reached the seventh-floor slab in August 2026, which leaves close to four years of waiting.
The location does much of the work here. Brigade puts Thousand Lights metro station about 100 metres away, Sathyam Cinemas about 300 metres and Express Avenue mall about 500 metres. Apollo Hospitals on Greams Road is 2.9 km, Marina Beach 2.7 km, Egmore station 3 km and the airport 14 km. Church Park, DAV and Don Bosco schools are within 3 km. Mount Road is congested through much of the day, so short distances on paper can take longer at peak hours.
Planned facilities include a lap pool with jacuzzi, a fitness studio, a garden pavilion, an outdoor deck, a skyline jogging path, a sky lounge, a ballroom, a multimedia lounge, an indoor recreation centre, a spa and salon, and a concierge desk.
