Altamont is a gated Brigade community just off Hennur Road in North Bengaluru. It offers 2 and 3 BHK apartments that the developer designed with cross-ventilation in mind. The listing shows 2 BHK homes at ₹72.3 lakh and ₹72.9 lakh, and 3 BHK homes at ₹95.9 lakh and ₹1.05 crore. These prices are several years old, so they are only a rough guide. The clubhouse has a gym, and the complex has a swimming pool, basketball and tennis courts, an indoor games area, an amphitheatre and a children's play area. That is a standard mid-market set, without the themed extras of some newer projects in the area.
On location, the developer puts Manyata Tech Park about 5 km away and the Hebbal flyover about 8 km. Hennur Road links to the Outer Ring Road, which in turn connects to Kalyan Nagar, HRBR Layout and the airport road. The area has filled out a good deal since the project was completed, with schools, hospitals and shops now within easy reach. Because this is a finished project, a buyer can see actual flats, meet residents and look at how the building has been maintained, which is an advantage over buying off plan.
