Hiranandani Communities

The Hiranandani name in Mumbai property dates to 1978, when brothers Niranjan and Surendra Hiranandani started the Hiranandani Group. The group made its name with large planned townships, first Hiranandani Gardens in Powai and then Hiranandani Estate in Thane. Niranjan Hiranandani later founded Hiranandani Communities, which he chairs and which now handles the Thane estate, Hiranandani Fortune City in Panvel and Hiranandani Parks at Oragadam near Chennai. The group also built Hiranandani Signature, the first tower at the IFSC in GIFT City, Gujarat, and runs a school and a hospital within its townships.

The projects IndiProp lists fall into two townships. In Thane, One Hiranandani Park is an eight-tower development on 21 acres, The Walk is the high street and residential block inside Hiranandani Estate, and Lake Enclave is also on the Thane side off Ghodbunder Road. In Panvel, Hiranandani Fortune City is the group's mixed-use township, where Golden Willows and The Arena are later phases. Fortune City suits buyers looking at Panvel and the new airport area of Navi Mumbai, while the Thane projects are better placed for people working in Thane or along Ghodbunder Road.
