James Law, the Hong Kong architect behind the Cybertecture practice, designed Rustomjee Elements, a gated complex of about 3 acres on the Juhu side of Andheri West. The landscaped area covers some 40,000 sq ft, and the upper floors look out towards the sea.
This is a project for the top of the market. Three-bedroom homes of 1,683 sq ft and 1,960 sq ft of carpet area were listed at ₹10.25 crore and ₹11.94 crore, and a 2,350 sq ft 4 BHK at ₹14.31 crore. Five-bedroom residences were also built, and the highest price on record, ₹17.67 crore, most likely belongs to one of them. The rate works out to around ₹60,000 per sq ft.
The shared facilities are built around an infinity pool on the roof, a sky lounge, a spa and a fully equipped gym, with a play area for toddlers designed separately. At this level of fit-out, monthly maintenance will be substantial, so ask for the current charges along with the price.
Juhu has long been one of the city's most sought-after addresses, with the beach, well-known restaurants and a large share of the film industry's homes. The domestic and international terminals are a short drive, the Western Express Highway is close, and D.N. Nagar is where Metro Line 1 and Line 2A meet.
