Seawoods, Navi Mumbai

Seawoods is a sub-node of Nerul in Navi Mumbai, between Nerul to the north and CBD Belapur to the south, with Palm Beach Road and the creek on its western side and Darave and Karave villages close by. It grew around Seawoods station, which Indian Railways renamed Seawoods-Darave-Karave in December 2025, and it is governed by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation.

The station is the centre of the area. Larsen & Toubro redeveloped it into a mixed-use complex with the Seawoods Grand Central mall, now run as Nexus Seawoods, along with offices and multi-level parking. Trains on the Harbour line run to CSMT and Panvel, the Trans-Harbour line runs to Thane, and the line towards Uran also passes through. Housing includes CIDCO-era sectors, the NRI Complex on Palm Beach Road and newer premium towers, and buyers tend to be professionals and families who want a quieter, well-planned node with good rail access. Apollo Hospitals at CBD Belapur and the D Y Patil stadium in Nerul are close by, and the Navi Mumbai International Airport at Ulwe, which began commercial flights on 25 December 2025, is to the south-east. Navi Mumbai Metro Line 1 starts at CBD Belapur. Prices are among the higher ones in Navi Mumbai, and Palm Beach Road carries fast, heavy traffic.
