Shriram Properties began operations in Bengaluru in 2000 and is the property company linked to the Chennai-based Shriram group. It is listed on the NSE and BSE, and M. Murali is its chairman and managing director. The registered office is in T. Nagar, Chennai, while the corporate office is in Sadashiva Nagar, Bengaluru. As of 30 April 2026 the company reported 51 delivered projects with a saleable area of 31.5 million sq ft, and a pipeline of 41 projects covering 35.3 million sq ft. Its investors have included Walton Street Capital.

The company mainly builds mid-market and affordable housing, along with plotted developments. Its markets are Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore and Visakhapatnam in the south, Kolkata in the east, and more recently Pune. In Bengaluru, Shriram Suvilas Palms is in Jalahalli in the north-west, Shriram Chirping Woods is in Harlur off Sarjapur Road, Shriram Blue is in Whitefield, Shriram Liberty Square is in Electronic City and Shriram Greenfield is at Budigere, off Old Madras Road. Prices at these projects tend to sit below the large premium developers in the same micro-markets, which makes them relevant for first-time buyers.
