Bahadrabad, Haridwar

Bahadrabad sits on NH-334, the old NH-58 between Haridwar and Roorkee, about 11 km from Haridwar. At the 2011 census the village panchayat had 10,232 people. It has long been a small industrial and institutional centre: the Bahadrabad industrial area has an Indane gas plant, the state irrigation research institute has run a hydraulic research station here since 1946, and SIDCUL's industrial estate is close by. Its largest neighbour is Patanjali Yogpeeth, opened in 2006 on the Haridwar to Delhi highway, whose campus includes the University of Patanjali, a hospital and the Acharyakulam school.

Road links are changing. The Delhi to Dehradun Expressway was inaugurated on 14 April 2026, and a six-lane Haridwar spur that bypasses Roorkee is under construction and planned to end at Bahadrabad on the Haridwar ring road. Once it opens, the drive from Delhi should be much shorter. For now the highway itself carries heavy traffic, especially during the Kanwar season and major bathing festivals. Haridwar city, Har Ki Pauri and the railway station are a short drive east along the highway, and Jolly Grant Airport is about 50 km away, according to Hero Homes.

It was registered with Uttarakhand RERA in five phases (UKREP03210000218, UKREP03210000219, UKREP02200000330, UKREP10190000313 and UKREP10190000312). The developer says possession has begun and lists freehold plots of about 2,600 sq ft, with listing data suggesting prices of about ₹35 lakh to ₹85 lakh. Many plots are still empty, so expect a quiet neighbourhood for some years, and budget separately for construction.
