Gharaunda is Hero Realty's budget housing project in Haridwar, built next to its own industrial park at Salempur Mehdood near Denso Chowk. It was planned for people working in the SIDCUL and Bahadrabad industrial areas, and the official site now lists it as delivered.

The project is registered with Uttarakhand RERA as UKREP10170000074. According to the official listing data, it covers 3.85 acres with 13 low-rise blocks of ground plus three floors, and about 70% of the site is open. Homes are 1 and 2 BHK apartments of 32.9 to 79.8 sq m, roughly 354 to 859 sq ft. The published Type A floor plan shows a 1 BHK of 500 sq ft super area and 344 sq ft carpet area, with a living room, kitchen, bedroom, toilet and balcony. The listing data puts resale prices between about ₹15.6 lakh and ₹32 lakh.

The project's own write-up describes the homes as holiday homes within the wider Haridwar Greens brand, but the location and sizes fit working households better. Facilities are basic and practical: a gated boundary, open greens and pocket parks, a children's playground, a sports area, open parking, round-the-clock security and water, and a small convenience store.

Walk-up blocks keep maintenance costs low, but check whether the upper floors have lifts if that matters to your family. The site photos show a finished campus with some open land still undeveloped around it.
