Gera Developments

Gera Developments is a Pune family business that entered real estate in 1970 and is still run from Gera Plaza on Boat Club Road. The company reports more than 64 completed projects and over 8.57 million sq ft as of December 2024, across Pune, Goa and Bengaluru, and it also has a presence in California.

Kharadi is its main area of work. On the commercial side it built Gera Commerzone, an office campus in Kharadi, and the newer 343 Crest in Upper Kharadi. Most of its recent housing is sold under the ChildCentric label, where the development includes coaching academies for sports, music, dance and study run with outside partners. World of Joy and Planet of Joy are in Upper Kharadi, Island of Joy is in East Kharadi and Joy on the Treetops is in Hinjewadi. It also has non-ChildCentric projects such as Avive Towers in East Kharadi and Isle Royale. The flats are mainly 2, 3 and 4 BHK homes in the premium segment for these areas. Because the academies are central to the pitch, buyers should ask which ones are confirmed for their phase and on what terms residents can use them.
