Sector 33, Sonipat

Sector 33 lies on the southern side of Sonipat, off GT Karnal Road (NH-44), in the belt that has grown around O.P. Jindal Global University and the Jindal Global City township near village Rathdana. The university, founded in 2009, sits on the Sonipat to Narela road, and the sector is part of a newer, privately developed stretch of licensed colonies rather than an older government sector. Most of the new supply here is plotted, which suits buyers who plan to build a house or independent floors of their own.

Connections to Delhi are the main reason for interest. GT Karnal Road runs about 3 km away according to Hero Realty's project page, and at Kundli it meets the Western Peripheral (KMP) Expressway, which has been fully open since November 2018. In December 2024 the Union Cabinet approved the Rithala to Narela to Nathupur (Kundli) metro corridor, a 26.463 km elevated line with 21 stations, which will bring the Delhi Metro to the Sonipat border once it is built. The developer lists FIMS Hospital about 3 km away, the Mapsko shopping complex about 2.5 km, Sonipat railway station about 7.3 km and the bus terminal about 10 km, so most errands need a car.

IndiProp lists 1 project in Sector 33: Hero Earth Swarnpath by Hero Realty, a Deen Dayal Jan Awas Yojana plotted colony of 99 plots on about 6.25 acres, registered with HRERA Panchkula as HRERA-PKL-SNP-396-2023. Plots measure about 1,116 to 1,611 sq ft, and the official listing data gives prices from about ₹1.11 crore to ₹1.40 crore. The project is under construction and no completion date is published, so check the HRERA Panchkula record before booking. Owners should also budget for building costs and the time needed for plan approvals.
